Imgembed, actually sounds like some weird swedish word. Ok, I have no idea what language – maybe i say it in Ikea, once? That said, the weird word makes more sense when you split it up… img – which is obviously short for image, followed by, you guessed it, embed. And yes, it took me awhile to figure it out, so you might be smarter than me.
Imgembed is a “new” answer to copyright infringement for online works. Yes, we know that most everyone steals images online (but not you, of course).
It is made not only for someone who can produce the images, like photographers as well as graphic designers and just entrepreneurs who produce their own visual content. Then, of course they want to share it for others to use. The good part is that the producers of this visual content can then also sell their images, for others to use.
You can decide on the price that you are willing to allow people to purchase your images. So, with many stick image libraries out there charging $1/images, you might not get rich unless you are producing a bucketload of visual content.

What Exactly is the Entrepreneur Online 365 Day Social Media Content Challenge? Every day, for 365 Days (Starting January 1, 2014), we will be researching, reviewing, reading and writing about all of the different social media channels that exist online. We’re mapping the social side of the internet, and how to maximise it for entrepreneurs and businesses. It is not just about social media, however. It is all about connecting and communicating with each other in the online environment, and the content that we develop to get there. It is about the tools that we need to grow our own businesses. Every day we will be investigating a new, specific avenue that allows us to join in on the conversation, connect and communicate, based on our interests, ideas, philosophies, attitudes and behaviours. At the end of the year, you will have an amazing new and clear idea as to what the “real” online community really looks like, and how you can make it work more effectively for your own audience and your own business.
